I wish that I had the faith in the systems in place to believe that this will be taken as a wake-up call for their actions. However, I think that this will be seen as a threat on their position within society, and will make them that much more aggressive.

In all fairness, the pic of the dog was totally reasonable. If I remember the story correctly, the dog was attacking people and the cop was there to stop it. It was at a ball game or something, I think. Anyway, all the people there said that the cop did a great job and used only the force necessary to subdue the dog.

TL;DR Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand untruths.
